What You Can Expect

Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy healing practice that was developed in the early 1900s by Mikao Usui.

 

The word Reiki translates loosely to "universal life energy" and is based on the belief that this natural energy flows through all living things. Originating in Japan, Reiki has since spread across the world and is now widely used as a complementary wellbeing practice alongside other holistic therapies.

During a Reiki session, you remain fully clothed while I use light touch or by holding my hands just above the body, helping to encourage a sense of relaxation, balance, and calm. Many people report feeling warmth, peace, emotional release, or deep relaxation during their treatment.

Reiki works holistically, supporting the mind, body, and spirit. While it is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions, it may help to reduce stress, promote emotional wellbeing, and create space for the body's natural healing processes to be supported.

 

Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or simply seeking a moment of stillness, Reiki offers a peaceful opportunity to reconnect with yourself and restore a sense of inner balance.
